Is Rotator Cuff Injury treatment right for you?

If you’re experiencing pain or weakness with overhead motions, difficulty sleeping on your shoulder, or a clicking or catching sensation, you may have a rotator cuff injury. This treatment is appropriate for partial tears, tendinopathies, and strains. Complete tears requiring surgery will first need orthopedic referral and post-operative clearance.

What is Rotator Cuff Injury treatment?

Rotator cuff injury treatment focuses on restoring strength, mobility, and stability of the shoulder complex. We use manual therapy, specific strengthening protocols (especially eccentric and isometric loading), scapular stabilization, and neuromuscular retraining. Education on movement patterns and posture is also emphasized to prevent re-injury.

What conditions does Rotator Cuff Injury treatment address?

This treatment is effective for:

  • Rotator cuff tendonitis or tendinosis
  • Partial-thickness tears
  • Muscle strains (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, etc.)
  • Weakness or instability in the shoulder
  • Overuse injuries from sports or repetitive work

Our goal is to restore optimal shoulder function and return you to daily or athletic activity without pain or limitation.
