Is Cervical Radiculopathy treatment right for you?
If you’re experiencing neck pain that radiates into your shoulder, arm, or hand—often with numbness, tingling, or weakness—you may be suffering from cervical radiculopathy. This treatment may be right for you if the cause is a disc herniation, nerve compression, or degenerative changes that don’t require surgery. However, if you’re experiencing severe, progressive neurological symptoms or spinal cord involvement, we’ll coordinate with your physician for advanced imaging or referral.
What is Cervical Radiculopathy treatment?
Cervical radiculopathy treatment focuses on decompressing irritated nerves and restoring normal biomechanics of the cervical spine. We use a combination of gentle spinal mobilization, mechanical traction, nerve flossing techniques, and targeted rehabilitative exercises to relieve pressure and improve nerve function. Education on posture, ergonomics, and sleeping position is also an essential part of care.
What conditions does Cervical Radiculopathy treatment address?
This treatment is suitable for:
- Nerve root compression from disc herniations
- Foraminal stenosis (narrowing of nerve passageways)
- Degenerative disc disease with nerve symptoms
- Radiating pain, numbness, or tingling in the upper extremities
- Mild to moderate neurological symptoms (without spinal cord involvement)
The goal is to relieve nerve irritation, restore mobility, and help you return to normal activities without pain or weakness.
