Our philosophy is simple, get you out of pain and on the way to recovery as fast as possible.  We individualize each treatment plan for optimal effectiveness. Once you have achieved maximum recovery, we hope you’ll think of us as a vital part of keeping you active and moving throughout the rest of your life.  By utilizing an extensive variety of techniques, modalities, treatments and home care exercises our doctors are able to expedite the healing process which saves you both time and money.  Integrating our approach to care with other disciplines allows us to treat the core problem and manage the symptoms, making the road to recovery faster and more comfortable.  Everyone is different and the same injury can affect different people in different ways.

Dr. Karen Baranick

Karen finished her degree in exercise and sports science and went to work for a Physical therapist as a PT aide. There she learned a great deal about physical therapy and decided to go on to pursue her doctorate of chiropractic and blend in her knowledge and experience of the Physical therapy disciplines. After getting her Doctorate, she decided to both practice and become an educator and taught for several years at the University of Western States in the Chiropractic Science department. She pursued education in several other techniques including Pediatric Adjusting, Webster Technique, and McKenzie Technique and continues to seek new and innovative techniques to bring to her patients.

Dr. Jordan Wilde
Dr. Jordan WildeChiropractor
Jordan has always had a love of sports and fitness which led him to pursue his degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Through the trials of personal injury he developed a desire to learn more about Chiropractic and Injury Rehabilitation and become a doctor so he could help other people facing similar injuries. He continues to play soccer, snowboard regularly and loves doing kettle bell workouts. He brings his love of sports and exercise to his treatment style and is able to provide unique insights into injury prevention and rehabilitation. As a side note, Jordan also loves anime. He keeps a Gundam, Vegeta action figure on his desk.

Dr. Dave Rief
Dr. Dave RiefChiropractor / Olympic Weightlifting Coach
Dave has always had a passion for fitness, weightlifting and sci-fi. As he progressed through school he became a Level 1 USA weightlifting coach and competes as an Olympic Weightlifting and Crossfit Athlete. He has a passion for sports, but also understands the injuries that come along with them. His love of weight lifting and crossfit have contributed to his decision to pursue physical medicine and give him a trained eye for spotting and correcting form and function problems. Just be prepared for a rousing discussion of star trek when you come in.

Phyllis Derry
Phyllis DerryOffice manager / Chiropractic Assistant
Phyllis has worked in the medical field for years starting in the aesthetic medicine industry and progressing through primary care and chiropractic. Her experience in all of these different industries and her unwaveringly positive attitude make her uniquely qualified to run Milwaukie Spine and Sport. More often than not, the first thing you will see when you walk in the door is Phyllis’ smiling face. She is also a comic book and Star Trek aficionado, so don’t hesitate to talk Spock!

Brittney has a passion for Massage, she and Phyllis, our office manager attended school together and became friends and have worked at several of the same places over the years. She continually strives to learn new techniques and therapy styles and has added many skills including cupping, tui na, and gua sha to her repertoire. In her spare time, she enjoys browsing tea shops, knitting and spending time with her husband and dog. She also participates in the yearly Portland to Coast walk.

Molly bring a tremendous amount of massage experience to our clinic, she has been a massage therapist 2007 and really enjoys helping people recover from injuries. Molly’s approach is very therapeutic and is evolving as she goes through the University of Western States chiropractic program to be become a chiropractor.

Jordan Farah has a passion for massage. In fact some of his family members are also in the industry. His diverse training allows him to do more than just therapeutic massage.
One of his specialties is TMJ massage to help people who experience jaw pain! He is also very interested in drone racing, scuba diving and many other activities.
